Magic Kingdom One-Day Itinerary
Classic Disney, a lot of rides, and finally somewhere to get a cocktail.
Magic Kingdom takes more planning than the other parks because there is so much competing for your time. If you want TRON, Seven Dwarfs, Space Mountain, the classics, and fireworks in the same day, winging it gets ugly by lunch.
The adult version got better when Beak & Barrel opened. It’s a reservation, it’s 45 minutes, and it’s a two-drink limit, so the itinerary shows you where to slot it without blowing up the rest of the afternoon.

EPCOT One-Day Itinerary
Ride the good stuff early. Spend the rest of the day eating and drinking.
EPCOT is the easiest park on this list to enjoy without feeling like you’re racing a clock. Get Guardians, Remy, and Frozen handled in the morning, then slow way down once you reach World Showcase. That loop is 1.2 miles and eleven countries, which is way more than you need to eat and drink your way through in one afternoon. We’ll tell you where we stop and what we skip.

Hollywood Studios One-Day Itinerary
Big rides, good bars, and a Rise of the Resistance queue that will test your friendships.
Hollywood Studios has the best ride lineup on property, and the lines to match. The itinerary gets you through Rise, Tower, Slinky, and Runaway Railway without bouncing all over the park, with plenty of time for a drink along the way. Oga’s is one you’ll usually want a reservation for; BaseLine is much easier to drop into, which is why we like it better as an afternoon stop.

Animal Kingdom One-Day Itinerary
The slow day. Animals in the morning, a drink on a patio by noon.
Animal Kingdom often closes early, sometimes 6 p.m. in the slow months, so this is the park where you go in the morning and don’t fight it. Kilimanjaro Safaris is better before the heat anyway. The itinerary covers Flight of Passage, Everest, and the safari, then points you at Nomad Lounge and the shady spots for the rest of the day.
